If I ruled the world, ...
Look at the images below.
They show people living in very different places, but all of them face serious challenges: homelessness, war, forced migration and natural disasters.
These situations may seem distant, but they are part of the world we live in today.
Now imagine something different.

ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, I would build safe homes for refugees so they wouldn’t have to live in tents.

ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, I would give those people a home to live but they would have to work, for example for the state, to maintain the house. ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, i would create free rehabilitation centres for homeless people that got themselves into that situation by substance abuse. And, if i could, when they learned to control their addictions, i would give them some free clothes and take them to a job recruiter so they get a job and ascend in their career. Through out that time, they would be living in a foster home. I wish i had the kind of power and financial condition to make this happen.

ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, I would remove dictators, and every leader who has started a war from their position. Try to help every refugee that needed to flee their country because of the war and rebuild every infrastructure that was damaged by war. Lastly I would encourage employers hire homeless people and refugees so that they can be independent and if they want go back to their birth country.

If society invested more in jobs and housing, many people would not end up living on the streets.
If we treated everyone with kindness and understanding, life would be easier for those in need.
Image B: If I were a doctor, I would go to war zones because many people cannot get medical help there. If I had the power and the money, I would create safe areas for civilians and help rebuild schools and hospitals because communities need stability after wars. If I worked for an international organization, I would help reunite families separated by war because many people lose contact with loved ones.

ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, I would open a place where homeless people could work.
I would give them an opportunity to start a new life.
Another way to rule the world would be to use the leftover food from the canteen and prepare meals to distribute to the homeless.
This would help reduce poverty and give people hope for a better future.

ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, I would reduce the amount of homeless people, specially in big cities. I think homelessness is a huge problem, not only for the health of those individuals but also for the functioning and safety of cities.
If I could, I would build more homeless shelters with dedicate volunteers, decreasing the amount of homeless people in the streets and some of them safe from addictions. If I ruled the world, I would also build suburban areas where the rents are way lower, giving more affordable options for those who don’t have the conditions to live in a more pleasant area. If this happened, it would decrease a little the percentage of homelessness. Of course the effort can not only come from those who help but also from those who are getting helped, because if we don’t cooperate nothing will change!
What if you ruled the world?
ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, I would make sure everyone had a safe place to live so they can start there lives without worrying about this.
If I can, I would provide free healthcare and job training for people without homes.
If everyone cared more about homeless people, we would treat them with dignity instead of ignoring them.
With these measures we can help others invest in themselves and not depend on someone else to improve.
We may not rule the world, but if we care, speak up and act responsibly, we can help change it, step by step.

If we give poor families somewhere to live and raise their childs it could decrease the percentage of young population that had no conditions when they were dependente of their parents.

ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, I would do everything I can to stop wars to prevent things like injured people during wars or streets with lots of smoke and destruction.
If countries solved their problems peacefully, people wouldn't have to run to save their lives. Children would feel safe if there were no bombs or violence around them.
If everyone respected human life, scenes like this wouldn't exist.

ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, I would make it a place where everyone is treated equally. To achieve this, I would try to eliminate poverty and homelessness. Housing would be a fundamental human right, guaranteed to everyone.
I would also promote more volunteering opportunities and social services, such as creating associations to support homeless people and help them rebuild their lives.
Finally, if I ruled the world, education for homeless people would also be a priority. I would create free educational programs and training opportunities to give them the skills they need to live on their own and have a better future.
If, I ruled the world, I would take these (homeless) people to a proper center where there are people who care for them, giving them food and better hygiene conditions. I would also give them the opportunity to go to an employment center so they could rebuild their lives in a more dignified way. Finally, if I ruled the world, I would give them access to education, as everyone should have, because it is a right

ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, I would invest more in education and dialogue to reduce conflicts between countries.
If I had the power, I would create international agreements that focused on cooperation instead of competition.
If governments worked together more honestly, they would be able to prevent many wars before they even started.

ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, I wouldn't allow people to live in the streets, by creating some kind of voluteering organizations, to give the homeless a roof to live, food and hygiene.
Also, I would do everything in my reach to everyone to help the people that are homeless by giving them money for them to build a life for themselves, by applying to jobs and starting a family.
At last but not at least I would do something to let everybody know about that the homeless are people like us, and that they are just like people that lost their spot in a line, and that need help to get back in their place in the line
If I ruled the world, I would build more cheap houses so homeless people would have a place to live.
ReplyDeleteIf I had more power, I would create programs to help them find jobs and learn new skills.
If governments cared more, they would give mental health help so people wouldn’t end up on the streets.
I choose image B. If I ruled the world, I would try to stop wars and make leaders talk instead of fight. If people in power cared more about families, children wouldn’t have to grow up surrounded by destruction like in this image. If countries helped each other more, many conflicts would not turn into violence. When I look at this picture, I feel that if we were more united and understand each other better, the world would be a lot more safer for everyone.

I would like to help childrens with a bad economic conditions, give him materials to study and things for they happiness.

ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, I would make sure that no one had to live on the streets. I would create more shelters and job opportunities to help homeless.
I would encourage the people to be more empathic and help this people.

ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, I would built shelters in every city so everyone would have a place to go when they’re homeless.
If I Ruled the world, i would give things their true price, and it would be a crime selling things underpriced or overpriced to prevent world economy to collapse.
If i ruled the world, i would try to make everyone work so they could have a their own purpose and their own money.

ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, I would make sure refugee families were not stuck in camps for years, without hope. I would give parents real jobs so they could feel useful again and not dependent on help all the time. And if kids had access to normal school , they would feel like they belong somewhere again

ReplyDeleteIf i ruled the world, I would work towards extinguishing homelessness. I would make sure that everyone has access to an affordable and safe place to live. No one chooses to live on the streets, and if the government invested in more job opportunities many people would have a second chance to rebuild their lives.
If everyone learnt empathy and compassion, the world would be a better place

ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, I wouldn’t let anyone live in these conditions. I would make sure that everyone had a warm home where they can sleep in. No one would need to sleep while freezing or being hungry.
If people gave this man a chance to prove his value, he could be someone with a stable job, a home and a big family.
If everyone helped a bit and was kind, no one would be in such a difficult situation, where the only way to survive is to beg for money and food.
Image A
ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, I would ensure that the homeless had priority in job searches, so that they would have legitimate opportunities in receiving money. However, in the first months of work, when they have no money, the respective company would offer essential food items such as tuna, bread, water... In conclusion, given the economic situation of the respective "homeless" person, the price of necessary items would be discounted so that they could alleviate their expenses.
Image B
ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, the first thing I would do is end wars. No political power and no economic interest is worth more than a child’s life. Leaders would be required to solve conflicts through dialogue, not violence and weapons would no longer be a priority but human safety would.
I would make sure that every child, no matter where they are born, has access to safety, education, and healthcare. The child in image B should be in a classroom, playing with friends, dreaming about the future and not being carried while she is severely wounded. Childhood should never be stolen. Neither for anything and much less for conflicts that these children did not choose to be surrounded by.
I would also invest in rebuilding communities, because after all, it is not enough to stop destruction if we can't restore hope. I would start by home's, school's, hospital's because these are the foundations of stability. People deserve more than survival. They deserve dignity. We all do.
But ruling the world is not only about laws and power, it is about empathy. If I ruled the world, I would do anything so that compassion would not be seen as weakness. It would be a sign of strength. We would teach future generations that differences in culture, religion, or nationality are not reasons for division, but opportunities for understanding and unity.
The truth is, I do not rule the world. None of us do. But we all influence it in small ways through our voices, our choices, and the causes we support. Maybe the real question is not “If I ruled the world,” but “What can I do now to make it better?” Because somewhere in the world, scenes like image B are real and change does not start with power, it starts with awareness and responsibility that we must all apply in our day-to-day to change the world to a better place as much as we can.
That is what I would change if I ruled the world.

ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, I would make sure that families forced to leave their homes were protected and respected. I would create an international programme with volunteers to help build safe housing and provide basic needs for these families.
If more doctors and nurses were sent to refugee camps through international medical organisations, diseases would be treated more quickly and living conditions would improve. This support would help prevent serious health problems and save many lives.
Children would have a better future if they had access to school and a peaceful environment to grow up in. For that reason, I would invest in building schools inside refugee camps and ensure that all children had equal access to education, as education is the key to success.
If we cared more about others, we would understand that anyone could be in this situation. Helping refugees is a responsability of everyone.

ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, I would build houses to homeless people because they deserve a place to live. It would also give them the opportunity to study and get a job so they wouldn't end on the streets again. If I had help from some organization, I could help more people.
Finally, if I ruled the world, I would create a rehabilitation program.
It would build shelters, houses, for refugees, help with food and more basic needs.
ReplyDeleteIt would end wars so that no family would have to flee their home, and lose important people.

ReplyDeleteOur world is full of wars and misery, and no children should ever be a refugee, they deserve freedom and a happy life. So if I ruled the world, I would take all those children to a safe island. On the Island, the children would have healthcare if they got injured in the war. If we all worked together, this world I rule where the children are safe would be possible.

ReplyDeleteIf I ruled the world, I would create international school volunteer programmes to help homeless people around the globe. Teachers and students would work together, preparing meals, collecting clothes and raising money for them. They could also spend time supporting people on the streets if governments organised safe community centres and allowed free transport.
I would also transform empty buildings into temporary homes. These places would give homeless people privacy, security and a decent place to live.
Lastly, more people would leave the streets if companies and restaurants donated leftover food. With this support, unhoused people would feel cared for and their daily fight would become much easier.
In conclusion, if I ruled the world, I would make sure that everyone had support and felt safe. With small actions, people in need could feel better and with strength to rebuild their new life!
